Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education has recently launched a joint project with the British Medical Journal (BMJ). Due to the agreements reached, specialists can get free access to modern scientific databases.
In particular, the doctors who deal with diagnostics, treatment and prevention of infectious disease can use the journal resources, as it was announced on the webpage of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and on its Facebook page.
The BMJ resource covers these issues in English and in Ukrainian. At the same time, it should be emphasized that there will be NO access to full-text articles from journals belonging to the BMJ group.
The project coordinators are Vice-Rector for International Relations and International Students Research and Training Full Professor Olesya Hulchiy and Associate Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology Maksym Pylypenko.
At the first stage, while the number of participants is limited, the priority will be given to the teaching staff members, as well as postgraduate students and resident physicians, who deal with the treatment of infectious diseases.
