Innovative system of Academic Board activity

According to the requirements of ISO and EFQM, the Academy has developed and implemented an innovative system of the Academic Board activity which can significantly increase the effectiveness of decisions making through careful preparation of agenda issues in specialized committees. At present seven committees function at the Academy, including committee on clinical work, international cooperation, teaching and guiding, scientific work and innovative activity, law matters and control of activities, financial and business activities, personnel commission. They hold discussions and offer suggestions in corresponding field of activity between the Academic Board meetings.
On the 17th of November, 2016 there were held regular meetings of the commission on international cooperation and personnel commission, in which Rector of the Academy, Academician of NAMS of Ukraine, Full Professor Yuriy Voronenko took part.
During the meeting the Academic Board has considered candidacies of 18 academic staff members with contract period expiration. They were invited to be attested.
Key criteria of the assessment of previous activities were the following: working results of the reporting period, passing advanced training courses, teaching load fulfilment, audience feedback, participation in diagnostic and treatment work, relations with the heads of clinical sites, etc.
According to the results of the meeting all candidates were successfully attested and got recommendation to renew the contract.
At the meeting the Rector sent birthday greetings to the head of the commission, First Vice-Rector, Corresponding Member of NAMS of Ukraine, Full Professor Yuriy Vdovychenko and Full Professor of the Department of Pathological and Topographic Anatomy Valeriy Silchenko and wished them good health and long years of professional life.
